The team had a busy weekend in Scotland last week at ScotPlant 2026 🙌

We had a great time speaking with both new and existing contacts about what’s happening across the industry, especially around fuel optimisation, plant innovation, and the practical challenges people are facing on site.

A key focus of conversations was our ongoing work with Ultimate Cell and recent live site trials. These showed measurable reductions in diesel use, improved efficiency, and lower emissions, all in real working conditions — with strong interest in practical, bridge technologies that support sustainability without compromising productivity.

There was also strong interest in heavy earthmoving equipment and durability-focused solutions, particularly for large-scale projects across infrastructure, housing and renewable energy.

It was a great opportunity highlight the work we’re continuing to deliver across Scotland, with ongoing investment in fleet, technical support and regional presence to meet growing demand.

Good conversations, good momentum, and plenty to follow up on 👍

Exciting couple of days ahead… we’re off to ScotPlant tomorrow👋

Tomorrow, the Stevens Equipment Rental team will be heading to the Royal Highland Centre for ScotPlant 2026.

This is a great opportunity for us to introduce Stevens Equipment Rental to new faces and have proper conversations about what contractors really need on site. Listening, learning and improving is something we focus on every day.

👋 Meet the team!

Say hello to Daryl, one of our three mobile service engineers covering Scotland and the North of England.

Based in Montrose on the east coast of Scotland, Daryl spends his time out on the road supporting customers across the region with servicing, maintenance and repairs to keep machines working as they should.

He works alongside our two other mobile engineers who together cover Scotland and the North of England. Each engineer carries their own stock of parts and fluids, allowing them to respond quickly and carry out many repairs directly on site.

They're also supported by our new Inverness service centre, which will be opening soon and will further strengthen the support we can offer customers across the north of Scotland.

Great to introduce one of the people helping keep our fleet and our customers moving every day. Because at Stevens Equipment Rental, it’s the people behind the machines that keep projects running🚜

What will you see on our stand at ScotPlant 2026? 👋

With just one month to go, we’re getting ready to welcome visitors to Stand 14 at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

We’re excited to be displaying:

• A quarry compliment Cat 966 loading shovel with Hydrogen fuel cell technology fitted
• Cat new generation D6 24t Dozer with SU blade and full GPS
• Liebherr Ta230 30t Dump Truck with 360 cameras and human form recognition

These machines form part of a wider fleet supplied across the UK. Our fleet also includes large excavators, material handlers, wheeled loading shovels and compaction equipment, supporting contractors across a wide range of sectors.

🤝 Alongside the equipment, the team will be on hand to talk through upcoming projects, equipment requirements and how we support customers with solutions tailored to their site.
