1000 slates up✅
Slating started✅

Saturdays graft was to start cutting on this new flat roof for my neighbours. Nice to get out of bed at 7.57am and be on the job at 8am 😂 definitely beats the 5am starts in Dorchester 🤌

What a difference 2 weeks can make. This job was a massive challenge. With no access only though the shop when it’s closed. Stripping 7 layers of felt. Windows removed. Then re decked. Then the nice bit started. Stratashield vapour barrier. Stuck down insulation. Then sika single ply to finish off. This roof runs in about 7 different directions to the internal outlets. Very happy with the outcome. But glad this one is finished. Onto the next one 🤝 DKO Roofing

Been horrendous stripping this flat roof 120sqm in 30 degree temps. 7 layers of felt. Insulation and boards like wet cardboard 🥵🤦🏻‍♂️ but we’re getting there slowly.
