MEET THE TEAM - 1st up… Jess🙌🏼

I thought it was about time I properly introduced myself and gave you a little look at what I actually do at PEM! I manage a lot of the day-to-day running of the business, from attending site inspections and preparing quotes, to invoicing, keeping jobs organised, speaking with customers and solving the little (and sometimes not-so-little 😂) problems that pop up along the way.

I’m not always behind a desk either… when needed, you’ll find me getting stuck in and helping out on site too! But there’s more to me than PEM! Swipe through to get to know me a little better — including what I get up to outside of work.

We’re really pleased with how this wet room installation turned out for one of our clients in Warrington!

The existing installation had been incorrectly constructed, with the pump trapped within the wall build-up and the drainage not allowing the water to flow away correctly. The wall had also been built up with multiple layers of brickwork, plasterboard, timber, further plasterboard, MDF and tiles, which had contributed to the issues with the previous installation.

We stripped everything back, removed the pump and corrected the natural drainage to ensure the water could flow away as intended.

Then HardiBacker boarded the walls in preparation for the new shower panels, installed new wet room flooring with cap and cove, and created a clean, practical and fully accessible space.

The resident did not require a shower screen, so we designed the room as an open-plan wet room, which works perfectly for their needs and gives the space a much more open feel.

We’re absolutely over the moon with the finished result🙌🏼

Another bathroom transformed properly, with the focus on getting the fundamentals right as well as delivering a great finish.

There’s nothing better than handing over a finished kitchen🤍

This project started with a full kitchen rip-out before we installed a completely new kitchen, designed by our customer.

One of my favourite features has to be the built-in seating and breakfast bar, it completely transforms the space and creates somewhere the whole family can enjoy.

Out with the old, in with the new✨

After years of heavy use, our client’s communal kitchen was ready for a complete transformation. We replaced the units, worktops, and appliances from with splashback tiles from

While keeping the existing wall tiles above the worktops in place at the client’s request. They complemented the new kitchen perfectly, so it made sense to keep them.

The only job left is fitting the plinths, we’re just waiting for a minor washing machine leak to be repaired first!🙈

We’re really pleased with how this refresh has turned out.

This bathroom is a perfect example. Our customer chose to continue the herringbone tiles above the bath, creating a stunning feature wall that immediately catches your eye. Combined with the contrasting large-format tiles and sleek black accessories, the finished result is modern, stylish and timeless.

Every bathroom we install is unique because every customer has their own vision, and we love helping bring those ideas to life.

This weekend was about more than crossing a finish line🩷

Becky and Jess proudly completed the Race for Life 5K in memory of their mum.

It was a special day, filled with support, encouragement and an incredible atmosphere, all while raising money for such an important cause.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and supported them along the way. Together, we’ve raised over £1,000 including Gift Aid for Cancer Research UK.

A little sneak peek at one of our latest bathroom transformations... ✨

This project involved a complete rip-out, allowing us to completely reconfigure the space. By removing an internal wall, we created a much larger showering area, giving our customer a far more spacious and practical bathroom.

Working closely with the client, we helped design a modern bathroom that balances luxury with functionality. The walls are finished with Porcelanosa UK White Vetri tiles, which create the look of multiple grout lines while keeping physical grout lines to a minimum—making them both stylish and easy to maintain.

To create a real feature wall within the shower, we installed Calacatta Viola Nouveaux Matte tiles from TheStoneSuperStone adding a bold statement that perfectly complements the brushed brass fixtures throughout.

We’re not quite finished yet—we still have the flooring to lay and the wall to prepare for the vanity unit, but we couldn’t wait to share a glimpse of how it’s coming together.
