Bedroom transformation on this one — and a proper heavy prep job from start to finish.

This room was in a tired, damaged condition with multiple holes, stains, and damaged areas throughout. Not something you can just paint over.

The wallpapered wall was in the worst condition — once stripped, it revealed significant damage, so new plasterboard was installed and the entire wall fully skimmed to bring it back to a flat, solid surface using Dalapro ROLL NOVA.

The rest of the room required extensive plasterboard patch repairs, followed by sealing all surfaces with Zinsser Guardz to stabilise everything before moving into heavy filling and prep work.

🎨 Finish:
🧱 Ceiling – Johnstone’s Perfect Matt (clean, flat finish)
🪵 Walls – Crown Clean Extreme in Farrow & Ball Pavilion Grey (durable & wipeable)
🚪 Woodwork – Benjamin Moore Scuff-X Eggshell (tough, long-lasting)

This is what heavy prep really means — not hiding problems, but fixing them properly so the finish lasts.

Fresh MDF joinery finished the right way 👌

This bespoke window seat was taken from raw MDF to a flawless, durable finish using Bedec All Prime for full sealing and adhesion, followed by Scuff-X Matt colour matched to Farrow & Ball – Elephant’s Breath.

✔️ Correct prep for new MDF
✔️ Sanding between coats for a super smooth finish
✔️ Tough, scuff-resistant coating – ideal for everyday use
