✨ The kitchen everyone admires isn't just about beautiful doors and stunning worktops — it's about everything you can't see.

When we take on a kitchen refurbishment, we always talk to our clients about the hidden works. Because here's the truth: if you get the preparation wrong, even the most beautiful kitchen won't stand the test of time.

🔧 PLUMBING
A refurbishment is the perfect opportunity to refresh your pipework, upgrade radiators, renew the stop tap under the sink, and even sort that outside tap. Don't inherit someone else's botched plumbing — do it right while everything is accessible.

⚡ ELECTRICS
Just because it's been working doesn't mean it's safe or compliant. Now is the time to upgrade wiring, run dedicated circuits for appliances, add extra sockets, and include those thoughtful little touches — like a USB socket on the breakfast bar — that make everyday life easier.

🏗️ WALLS & CEILINGS
Removing old tiles almost always means plastering. And while you're at it — is that artex ceiling still there? Get rid. Got bedrooms overhead? Consider adding sound insulation. Small decisions now, big difference later.

💨 VENTILATION
This one is non-negotiable. An externally vented extractor fan will significantly prolong the life of your kitchen by removing moisture, grease, and cooking odours properly. There is almost always a way to make it work — and it's always worth doing.

The prep work is what separates a kitchen that looks good on day one from a kitchen that still looks great in 15 years.

🛏️ Wardrobe Upgrade | Ferndown

Sometimes the simplest changes make the biggest difference to a space.

This client in Ferndown wanted a to upgrade there storage — so we stripped out the old wardrobes and internals completely and replaced them with a clean, made-to-measure installation, finished throughout in Egger Cashmere Grey.

One side is fully shelved for folded storage and everyday essentials, while the other features double hanging space — giving the room a layout that’s both practical and easy to live with.

The result is a noticeably more functional and aesthetically pleasing space, Sometimes a straightforward upgrade is all it takes. ✨

🏡 Kitchen Refresh | Corfe Mullen

This client wanted to keep their beautiful stone worktops, but was desperate for more storage, so rather than starting from scratch, we worked with the existing base units and focused on transforming the storage and functionality of the whole space.

We removed the existing wall units and oven tower and replaced them with made to measure cupboards utilising every bit of available wall space, two additional larder units, a new taller oven tower, and a Kessböhmer tandem larder — all finished with internal drawers and a pull-out bin.

We added a wine rack above the fridge, and an integrated extractor fan to help prolong the life of the kitchen. New drawers were fitted into the base units, and new made-to-measure frontals were fitted throughout.

To free up valuable wall space, we swapped the old radiator for a slim vertical rad — a small change that makes a big difference to the layout.

Finished with black Furnipart handles. We’ve also since returned to build a bespoke cupboard to neatly house the boiler — keeping everything tidy and out of sight.

A great example of how a thoughtful refresh can completely transform a kitchen — without losing the features you love. ✨

🏡 A beautiful kitchen completed — this time in Bournemouth!

We removed the existing kitchen and took care of everything — renewed plumbing and electrics, replastered all walls and ceiling, and decorated throughout using Dulux Diamond Matt for a clean, fresh finish.

For the kitchen itself, we used Fitzroy Stone coloured doors with matching cupboard interiors, using tall units throughout to really maximise the available storage. A Le Mans corner unit makes the most of what’s often wasted space, and we added under-sink bins and plenty of drawer storage to keep everything practical and organised.

The worktops are 20mm Cemento Velluto quartz — a beautiful, tactile finish — with matching upstands and window cill, an undermount sink, and a tiled splashback behind the hob to complete the look.

Appliances include a Bosch single oven, Bosch combination oven an integrated Bosch extractor, and a freestanding Bosch dishwasher, with a plinth heater keeping things warm underfoot. We worked with the customer to retain their existing fridge, washing machine and hob — a practical and cost-conscious decision that worked perfectly within the new kitchen

Underfoot, the floor is Quickstep Oro Rock — tough, stylish, and a great complement to the overall palette.

🏡 West Moors Kitchen Transformation

From structural works right through to the finishing touches, this one really was a full transformation! 🙌

We started by removing the wall between the kitchen and lounge diner to create a beautiful open plan space, bricked up the back door to maximise wall space in the kitchen area, and concealed a wind post within the external wall for structural integrity. The ceiling was also fully removed and re-boarded, with plastering and full redecoration throughout

We designed, supplied and installed the kitchen using Belay Reed Green doors mixed with Dove Grey — a great combination. Finished with Egger square-edge worktops and matching upstands, and a beautiful Franke stainless steel sink and boiling water tap.

Storage was a key part of the brief, so we maximised this with double door larder and tall wall units making the most of every millimetre of ceiling height.

The team did a brilliant job on this from start to finish — the craftsmanship and attention to detail really shows. This is exactly what we love doing! ❤️

Fresh Transformation in Broadstone! 🏡✨

We have recently finished up a really rewarding project over in Broadstone, giving this home a kitchen and utility overhaul and two brand-new bathrooms. It was a busy few weeks but seeing it all come together is why we love what we do!

Kitchen & Utility:

The customer chose the Regiment Green painted doors for both rooms, and the colour is spot on—sophisticated but really warm.

* In the Kitchen: We paired those green tones with beautiful quartz worktops with matching up-stands and splash back . We installed a Franke undermount sink and tap, Blum eco bin system, a Bosch integrated dishwasher, a tall pantry cupboard and maximised the storage space by using tall wall units

* The Utility Room: The focus was on maximising every bit of storage possible, creating a custom housing to neatly hide away the boiler and hot water tank. The appliances were stacked to free up floor space and two shallow larder units add plenty of storage.

The Bathrooms:

For the bathrooms, we used quality Roca suites to keep things consistent and durable.

* Main Bathroom: The customer wanted to make sure there was plenty of storage so we fitted a mix of closed and open cupboards topped with quartz worktops, a semi recessed basin and concealed cistern.

* En-suite: We installed a custom-made vanity unit and used a clever bit of space at the end of the bath to squeeze in some extra storage where it was otherwise being wasted.

We are really proud of how this one turned out—a big thank you to our fantastic customers.

✨Project Completion: Merley Bedroom✨

We recently finished a bespoke bedroom installation in Merley, focusing on maximising storage space.

The goal was to utilise every available millimetre without making the room feel enclosed. To achieve this, we combined custom-sized drawers with overhead wall units, effectively doubling the storage capacity within the same footprint.

Design Details:

* Integrated Lighting: Dimmable LEDs were installed under the wall units, providing both task lighting and a softened evening ambiance.

* The Finish: A high-contrast pairing of Lincoln Walnut and Grey Textile. The warmth of the wood grain balances the fabric-effect texture for a modern look.

* Minimalist Hardware: We opted for sleek black Furnipart handles to punctuate the design.

* Floating Elements: Matching bedside tables were wall-mounted to maintain floor visibility, enhancing the sense of space.

The result is a clean, organised environment that maximises utility without sacrificing style.
