Week 3 – Massive Progress by the WWCS Team! 💪🌿

Another extremely productive week for WWCS!
While continuing our regular site maintenance works, the team has made fantastic progress on the Jewish Synagogue project — and it’s really starting to come together.

✅ Planting and tree works completed
✅ Patio fully laid (just pointing to finish)
✅ Pool installed for the rockery and filled
✅ Waterfall feature taking shape
✅ Rockery coming together nicely

🏗️ Week 2 Update – Jewish Synagogue Project
Another productive week on site — great progress all round!
✅ 24 tons of Type 1 laid and compacted
✅ Disabled access ramp completed (just pointing left to finish)
✅ Drainage system installed
✅ Walls filled and skimmed to a clean finish
✅ Over 191 slabs to be laid — we’ve started bringing them around site
✅ All in ground sockets for the pergola now installed
The transformation is really starting to show now — it’s coming together beautifully.
🔜 Next Week’s Plans:
Continue laying the 191+ slabs
Start erecting the pergola
Install the water feature with rockery
Fit the custom-made metal pool for the waterfall feature

🌿 Week One Progress – Synagogue Improvement Works 🌿
We’ve had a busy first week on the synagogue improvement project! Despite some challenging weather, the team has been working hard to stay on schedule and get everything ready for the upcoming event.
✅ Tree planting completed
✅ New shrubs and plants added
✅ Patio works commenced
✅ Rendering underway
✅ Tree works carried out

Our 20th year is turning out to be our busiest ever, so we are now looking for a second man for a new service team. You will need a driving license and ideally 2 years experience in a similar grounds maintenance position, HOWEVER, for the right individual we could provide training and development.

We can't believe it either, but it's true. WWCS is twenty years old this year, providing Grounds Maintenence and Sport Field Management Services to clients across the South with some of those clients having been with us from the start .
We'd like to thank all our clients and our current service team for helping us reach this milestone.

With the new season now upon us, our increased workload now requires an experienced Grounds Maintenance operative to join our team. You must have a clean driving license with at least 2 years experience of maintaining commercial and corporate grounds or Sports Fields / Schools to a high standard and be prepared to work across our operating region of the South of England. Spraying / Chainsaw and other relevant certificates would be an advantage.
