Thank you BBC Gardeners World for mention. We had such a good time doing this beautiful border!

💫 A Gold Award was awarded to Corrine Frost Ltd for her 'In The Pink' Beautiful Border at the BBC Gardeners' World Spring Fair.

🌸 " I do not have a garden. I am a Landscape Architect and Garden Designer and yet, I do not have a space to experiment. Any experience of garden curation I do is through the design of other people’s spaces.

💗 This wrap-around Border is a space for me, with the forms and colours that please me the most.

🍃 A pink palette of spring perennials and bulbs weave through a repeating structure of topiary mounds, with a soft accent of spring grasses. Two small trees watch over a seating area, casting dappled shade over a space made for conversation."

With thanks to Garden Product suppliers Rolawn , Kebur Garden Materials and Hampshire Hedges

The most frustrating this as a garden designer - - to have no garden of my own. I say this not to elicit your pity but to acknowledge a sign of our times. The garden is and continues to be a luxury for the rich.

I am learning to make the most of the small outdoor space I do have. About 8 square feet of concrete north facing balcony. When we moved here I brought with me two potted Hydrangea macrophylla.

The best time to ‘officially’ prune them is early spring but even at the end of January I have been noticing lots of wonderful new buds and small bright green leaves. I assume it’s because of the mild winter we’ve had or perhaps the shelter offered by the balcony.

So I decided this weekend to take the plunge and give both a prune.

Let’s see how they fare. The nice thing about gardening is that although the plants will tell you if you make a mistake, they will forgive you and you can learn and get batter the next year!

Very excited to show you some progress photos of our Suffolk Garden. 🌳🌿

The hard landscaping is down in the first phase at the rear of the house. It has absolutely transformed the space. And I, being the nerdy and fastidious person that I am, am very impressed by the contractors ex*****on of the manhole cover detailing! It absolutely puts a polish on the quality of the build.

Some of the larger shrubs and trees have been placed loosely to get a feel of space. We are all keen to keep some privacy between the two ends of the garden so you can’t see the whole way down in one view.

More to follow soon.

A visit to the French Riviera this week. Today I’m in Antibes. The old part of the town has beautiful traditional walls as part of the coastal defence. All along the walls there are dry gardens including this cacti garden. I just love the variety in the composition. Every shape and size.

Been visiting some of London’s passivhaus schools today. It is really disappointing to still see just how much imbalance there is between landscape and building. Especially when biodiversity net gain is so important these days. Too much tarmac and recycled plastic benches but plenty of glutamate beams and copper cladding! On the positive side- wonderful swale in the front of one school.

The tidiest it will ever look! About to start sharing a Home office/ Lego Gallery with my husband. Great to finally have a fresh new space to get creative in. The garden designs will be flying out the door at pace now. Watch this space.

Had a wonderful time with some new clients at the weekend discussing plans for their new garden. It gets loads of sun despite its small size and is going to become such a fantastic zen space for them! Looking forward to getting going on this one.

Hello! Welcome to my page for Corrine Frost Landscape and Garden Design. If you’re new here, thanks for following.
I thought it would be useful to introduce/ reintroduce myself. I am an Architecturally trained Landscape Architect which means I know about buildings and large scale land development between buildings.

I have specialised in garden design more recently and have worked in the studios of leading designers Andy Sturgeon and Tom Stuart Smith. You may know them from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show or Gardeners World on the BBC. It’s fair to say I have had an amazing amount of experience on really interesting projects in countries all around the world.

I’ve learnt a lot and am now so thrilled to be able to put it into practice for myself. I started working by myself in 2022 and it’s been the best decision I ever made. I enjoy working with people to create a space they love to be in. If you’re a fellow garden enthusiast or aspire to become one, please do reach out- I’d love to hear from you.
