We’re delighted to share that one of our Directors, Ben Kite, has been named in The ENDS Report Power List 2026 as one of the top 10 most influential environmental consultants in the UK.
The ENDS Power List highlights 100 of the most influential people across the UK environment sector, working to shape ecology, sustainability and environmental policy.
Ben’s recognition reflects his long-standing work at the heart of UK environmental policy and planning. Over recent years, he has played a key role in the national debate around the Planning and Infrastructure Act, passed in 2025, particularly Part 3 of the legislation.
As one nominator put it: “He’s done an awful lot. He’s been the one bringing all that real-world experience and expertise in the background. So much of what took place [around the Act] last year he had a hand in.
Ben helped to highlight concerns that changes to legislation could weaken established environmental safeguards and add significant complexity and uncertainty to the planning process.
He’s also recognised for his ability to communicate complex ecological and planning issues clearly and effectively, from written briefings and technical amendments through to evidence given to Parliamentary committees. A lot of this work has focused on turning complex policy and ecological issues into clear, practical input for decision-makers.
Ben continues to be active in discussions shaping the future of ecological planning in the UK and it’s great to see his work recognised in this way.
Congratulations to Ben, and to all those featured in this year’s Power List!
