**WE’RE HIRING!**
FULL TIME POSITION OR PART TIME

Our articulated haulage service is in need of an enthusiastic hardworking class 1 driver.

A successful applicant would be expected to be able to competently manage their own time, speak to customers and make multiple collections and deliveries of bulk products such as grain and feed as well as plant machinery, straw and have reasonable experience with class 1 driving and all above work.

A mechanical knowledge and the ability to make minor repairs whilst away from base would be very useful and ensure minimum down time.

As with most class 1 work, nights away would be required from time to time and additional money for food and facilities would be provided on top of base pay.

Pay will be based on age and experience and will be paid weekly.

With the diverse nature of our business we can also accommodate applicants with an interest in the agricultural work we carry out and can have a good variety of work available to them. But please note we will not accept any applicants who do not have a class 1 license.

Our start date is flexible but we would like to have someone in place in the near future.

Our yard is near alresford and the successful applicant will be provided with a work phone and be driving a Scania with all the normal creature comforts: cab heater / air conditioning Fridge,microwave etc.

Here’s a job we’ve been working on recently. This fibre wax sand riding surface was not draining at all. Years of compaction and a blocked membrane left the water with nowhere to go! We carefully removed the surface and stock piled it. Levelled off the stone beneath and compacted it. Then laid a new membrane and put the surface back. The surface was in need of a small top up which we also did. We made some other repairs around the school such as rotten or damaged kick boards and created a small retaining wall to keep chalk from falling onto the surface and contaminating it. If your surface looks like this, get in touch we’d be happy to help ! 🐴
