For this project, the new sections were finished with a crisp render, complemented by dark fascia, guttering and window details to create a clean, modern contrast against the existing brickwork.

A strong finish that feels contemporary while still sitting naturally alongside the original home.

What’s behind the walls matters 🔨

Once this space was stripped back, years of hidden damage were uncovered. The old wall coverings and damaged materials have now been removed, the area has been taken back to the brickwork, and new timber framing has been installed around the window ready for the next stage.

It might not be the prettiest part of a renovation, but careful preparation and solid groundwork are essential for creating a finish that lasts.
