Happy Bank Holiday Monday.

Daniel is in work today, making a start on this beautiful kitchen in Mickle Trafford.

There’s plenty of cabinetry to work through, including the large island and matching boot-room area. Today is all about getting everything removed and beginning the preparation before the hand-painting starts.

We’ll share the progress throughout the week 🎨

The combination behind our hand-painted finishes 🎨

Tikkurila Paint Intact adhesion primer and enamel topcoat, applied using Staalmeester brushes and rollers, alongside their scraper set for the detailed preparation work.

The paint matters, but so do the tools used throughout the process. Together, they give us the control needed to prepare each cabinet carefully and achieve the beautifully even, hand-laid finish we want.

A combination we know, trust and use on our hand-painted kitchens.
