A few weeks ago, we put a call out looking for an individual or business to help by sponsoring new first aid kits for the club.

We were so pleased when up stepped local business Paul Smith Landscape & Gardening Services who kindly provided the sponsorship to allow us to purchase 8 new brilliant first aid kits. These have been given to all age groups, plus our training sessions have one also.

We are massively thankful to Paul and his business for helping with this as it allows us to be ready for most situations that arise first aid wise on the rink.

Ivy removal is certainly something you should consider if you have ivy growing on the walls of your property as it can cause a number of problems.

As the roots of the ivy embed in the mortar, it will erode and cause the brickwork to become loose. We have recently undertaken a major project to rebuild a water feature and landscape the surrounding garden area, this included:

• Demolition of the existing water feature.
• Build a new larger water feature with stepped waterfalls.
• Indian sandstone garden border.
• Position 3 x 1.5-ton boulders.
• Building of an Abbey corner ruin folly kit.
• Laying stone.

The customer was delighted with the result.
