💛 A Personal Update & Thank You 💛

This post has taken me a while to write, but I’ve always believed that honesty and being open is one of the strongest tools we have to grow, improve, and become better.

Over the past few months, I’ve been in and out of hospital having surgery’s , dealing with skin cancer. It’s been a bump in the rollercoaster, and it made me stop and seriously consider whether I should step back from the business to focus on my health and mental health.

After taking some time this week to breathe, think, and weigh up my options — I’ve decided I’m not giving up. I’m carrying on. Maybe with half the smile you’re used to, but twice the determination.

I want to be open with all of you because you’ve been part of this journey since the start. Your tags, reviews, messages, support, jokes, and trust have kept me going stronger than you’ll ever know. Without you lot, I’d be in a much worse place than I am today.

I’ll be remaining off for the rest of this week to recharge properly, and next week I’ll begin catching up on admin and replying to the messages I’ve missed over the past couple of weeks. I’m really sorry if I haven’t responded — it’s been a lot to manage, but I never fail; I learn and come back stronger.

Thank you to my mum for helping all the way through and not giving up on me too she deserves so much for what she puts up with. Lisa-Lisa-jayne Corbett Bannisternk you all — genuinely. Peace, love, and sausage rolls.

🌞 Morning everyone from PestXperts & CleanXperts!

Just a quick one — I’m having a small surgery done today, so I’ll be out of action for the day. I’ll be back at it tomorrow as normal — it’d take a lot more than this to stop me working! 💪🐀🧼

If you’ve got jobs booked in, don’t worry — they’re still going ahead as planned. The only thing that might slow down today is my reply speed, so if you’ve messaged and I haven’t got back yet, just bear with me.

🐀 With this weather turning colder, the rats are already out house-hunting for their new forever homes… and trust me, you don’t want your loft or shed on Rightmove for rodents 😂

Bit of advice – don’t waste your money on the cheap shop-bought traps and poison. 9 times out of 10 they just feed the problem (literally). That’s when you end up calling me anyway.

When the bin says “wheelie tough” but the rats say “challenge accepted”… 🐀😂

Caught these cheeky fellas today chewing straight through the bottom of a bin and strutting out in broad daylight like they own the place. No shame whatsoever – didn’t even wait for nightfall!

If your bins are starting to look like Swiss cheese or you’ve got uninvited furry tenants helping themselves to your leftovers, give us a shout. We’ll get them evicted quicker than they can say “cheese!” 🧀

🪳 Bed Bugs… Not Just for Beds! 🪳

Yesterday’s job proved (yet again) that bed bugs don’t always play by the rules. While the name might suggest they stick to the mattress, some of these photos show them hiding behind picture frames and canvases too.

That’s why a full, professional treatment is so important – it’s not just about spraying a bed and hoping for the best. These little pests find all the nooks and crannies you wouldn’t even think of!

Another property treated, another family reassured – and a reminder that when it comes to bed bugs, if you don’t see them, we’ll find them.

🐝 The Queen Has Left the Building! 👑

Yesterday we were called out to a homeowner with a monster of a wasp nest in their barn. Thousands of angry tenants… rent overdue and no chance of eviction without PestXperts stepping in.

Nest safely dealt with ✅ and removed ✅. Best bit? We even found the queen and showed her off to the customer, who was properly intrigued (not every day you get introduced to royalty in your own barn!).

Another buzzing problem sorted – and one very relieved homeowner! 🏡
