🏠 Flat Roof Transformation Completed! 🏠

This flat roof was stripped back to investigate ongoing issues, only to uncover a much bigger problem than expected.

❗ Around half of the roof deck had been boarded with chipboard, which had completely deteriorated over time and was heavily rotten due to moisture ingress.

🔨 Work carried out:
✔ Full strip of the existing felt roof system
✔ Removal of all rotten chipboard decking
✔ New structural OSB3 roof decking installed throughout
✔ New high-performance 3-layer torch-on felt roofing system fitted
✔ New perimeter detailing and weatherproof finishes
✔ Full site clean and waste removal

This is a great example of why a proper inspection is so important. What looks like a simple leak from the outside can often hide serious issues underneath the roof covering.

This conservatory has been completely refreshed and brought back to life.

🏠 Chimney Restoration Completed

This chimney was long overdue some maintenance, with failing mortar joints and signs of weathering allowing water to pe*****te the stack.

✅ Full scaffold access erected
✅ Entire chimney raked out and repointed
✅ Damaged mortar joints repaired throughout
✅ Fresh new flaunching installed around the chimney pot
✅ New chimney cowl fitted
✅ Chimney cleaned down and left weatherproof

The original flaunching had deteriorated over time, allowing water to sit around the chimney pot and increasing the risk of moisture entering the stack. A new flaunch has now been installed to provide long-lasting protection against the elements.

Many chimney issues start small but can quickly lead to loose brickwork, internal damp, staining, and costly repairs if left untreated. Regular maintenance can significantly extend the life of your chimney.
