🚲💨 The fastest way to move in the city? By bike.

While cars and scooters wait in traffic, bicycles glide through — efficient, sustainable, and healthy.
Two wheels don’t just save time, they save space, reduce emissions, and bring life back to our streets.

It’s not only about moving faster. It’s about moving better. 🌍✨

🚔 A 13-year-old boy saw someone about to fall from a bridge… and refused to let go.

Last month in Bromyard, 13-year-old Joey Bullock held onto a member of the public to stop them falling from a bridge until police officers arrived and took over.

Think about that for a moment.

Not a police officer.

Not a firefighter.

Not a trained negotiator.

A 13-year-old schoolboy.

While many adults would understandably freeze in a situation like that, Joey stepped forward. He put another person’s life ahead of his own safety and showed courage far beyond his years.

This week he received a Chief Superintendent’s Award from West Mercia Police in recognition of his actions.

And rightly so.

Joey, if you ever see this post, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Your actions may well have saved a life. You demonstrated courage, compassion and selflessness when it counted most.

The question I have is this…

Is a Chief Superintendent’s Award enough?

There are a number of recognised bravery awards in the UK, including:

🏅 National Police Public Bravery Awards
🏅 Royal Humane Society Awards
🏅 Pride of Britain Awards
🏅 British Citizen Awards
🏅 Local and National Bravery Recognitions

Personally, I think what Joey did deserves to be considered for wider recognition.

What do you think?

If a 13-year-old can show that level of courage in the face of danger, what award should he be receiving?

Let’s make sure Joey knows that his actions have not gone unnoticed.

Congratulations, Joey. A credit to your family, your community and yourself. 👏💙

Talk soon, Brendan.

Sometimes the richest choice has nothing to do with money.

Developers reportedly hounded him for months, but the old farmer would not budge. His land sits in an area where farms are being swallowed up for warehouses and AI data centers.

Now his 261 acres are protected for good. They can only ever be farmed, never built over.

„I love this land. It's been my life," he said. He hopes future families will get to live and farm here, just like his did. And he says he is happy.
