Did you know that sludge or corrosion in heating systems can create all sorts of problems.
Noises from the boiler ( kettling ), cold spots on radiators and constant bleeding of radiators are all signs off sludge within the heating system.
This is caused by corrosion and comes from the radiators themselves and, if left untreated, could cause serious problems with your heating, leading to very expensive repairs.
Leaving sludge in heating systems is not a good idea, eventually it can cause blockages within the system, causing the boiler to stop working as it can't get rid of the heat it's producing, and can cause pin holes in radiators from where the radiators are literally rotting from inside out.
A power flush or a MagnaCleanse of the heating is the best method to clean it through and keep it running efficiently.
Some engineers simply add a cleaner to the system and drain it off a few times, and this really achieves very little, and 99% of corrosion will remain as it's not being forced out of the system.

This time of year, when the heating is fired up for the 1st time, many people experience problems, ranging from the odd radiator not working right through to a system that has failed entirely.
Many systems suffer with sludge or corrosion deposits which can cause many problems with poor circulation, even if you think there isn’t a problem, you don’t want it to cause a problem and cause more damage which will cost far more than a flush itself.
The best way is to get either a power flush or a Magna-Cleanse of the system to eliminate the sludge and restore circulation to your heating system.
Many people will add a cleaner to the system, drain it off and refill a few times, but in reality, on a heavily contaminated system this has almost no effect and the sludge will remain.
These pictures are just some examples of the deposits that cause the problems in your system.
