A huge yew removal yesterday and today. Sadly this tree had died and the crown had deteriorated to the point of it being unsafe. All rigged down safely and with no damage to the surrounding area. Timber left for the customer’s use, branches chipped and removed.

Slightly different job to usual this week. This large picea fell back in the winter, clearing it has been on the cards for a while. The clients wanted to use the timber in few different ways, hence the slightly strange ripping of the stem into 10ft quarters.

Another of last week’s jobs. The first two photos are before, and the rest after. This was a large oak in a small back garden. The tree was subject to a TPO, we were permitted to undertake a 2 metre crown reduction. It was challenging as the anchor points for the climber were poor due to historic storm damage at the top. There were also numerous obstacles in the gardens below. At least the weather was good for this one!
