The heat domes created in different parts of the world has a big alarm to all the humanity to put their socks up to work to reduce the effect of global warming for the safety of nature to save the human lives on this planet. We as a Leaf & Tree working towards the restoring earth’s ecological balance by planting and nourishing trees. Our one of the most admirable project of creating/growing mini forests helps in reversing the global warming, which is the most significant part to maintain the health of the earth.
The world's high population density, rapid urbanization, industrial proliferation, and irresponsible farming have depleted its green cover and left it polluted. Its forest cover is a mere 31%.
Every individual on this earth maybe he is rich, poor, urban, rural, and may belong to any of all regions – he relies on natural capital. The benefits of growing trees hold tremendous importance. Trees give us fresh air, prevent soil degradation and flooding, and are essential to maintaining the ecological balance, and as such life on this planet.
Planting trees is an initiative that promotes responsible environmental practices, cares for biodiversity, creates germplasm conservation banks, reduces carbon footprint, and offers protection against future ecological degradation.
Some of the brain kicking advantages of planting trees in reducing global warming include:-
1. An average size tree creates sufficient oxygen in one year to provide oxygen for a family of four.
2. Planting trees can cut air-conditioning/ electricity costs up to 50 percent.
3. Planting trees for the environment is good as they are renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable.
4. If we plant 20 million trees, the earth will get 260 million more tons of oxygen.
5. Once acre of trees can remove up to 2.6 tons of Carbon Dioxide each year.
6. During photosynthesis, trees, and other plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
7. Trees keep in cheek the air and water pollution.
8. Why planting trees is important is evident as they are the natural habitat of the animals and birds, as well as many endangered species.
9. Planting trees means more wood and paper products that can be easily recycled.
10. A newly planted whole forest can change tones of atmospheric carbon into wood and other fibrous tissue, thus reducing global warming.
