Bromley Project: Internal Transformation
Hereβs a reel that demonstrates the internal that weβve achieved at the Bromley site, found initially as an abandoned public house that had been left overgrown for over a decade. Soon, the 6-apartment assisted living facility will be functioning as intended for its residents.
Despite there being a complete end-to-end renovation of the old derelict building, which included a lot of higher specification items given the intended use, some of the key highlights of the work undertook include:
β
A new reinstated roof and roof timbers due to fire damage
β
Everything being stripped back to bare brick, including joists and stud walls
β
Installing new joists throughout
β
Installing new partition walls which adhere to robust sound regulations
β
Floating sub floor for sound acoustics
β
Installing all anti-ligature bathrooms (so thereβs nothing to pull off the walls, potentially harming residents)
β
Grinding out the entire building and repointing it in lime mortar
β
Installing a new plumbing and heating system throughout
β
Fully re-wiring the building
β
Installing emergency aids in each flat
β
Installing CCTV in communal areas and externally
