Recently, we attended a networking event where the director of the Wolves Foundation, Will Clowes, asked us, “What motivates you to do this?”

Our answer was simple, if you have the chance to make a positive impact, why wouldn’t you? Supporting our local community is something we’re very proud of as a business.

Events like this take time, effort, and commitment, but giving back to Wolverhampton while bringing people together for a great cause makes it all worthwhile.

Today we are proud to share that we raised in excess of £40,000 for the Wolves Foundation after another successful football tournament, where 32 businesses competed for the Paul Finch Trophy.

Event costs are deducted from that amount, but it’s still a major contribution to a cause that continues to face challenges due to recent premier league relegations.

I’d encourage businesses across Wolverhampton to get involved wherever possible, no matter their size or industry. When local businesses work together, we can make a real and lasting difference to our city and its people.

Congratulations to the winnings Hawkins FC, a fitting tribute, with the tournament itself being named after their Dad and we’re already planning the next event, with ambitions to make 2027 even bigger

Always great to return to projects we’ve previously completed and see the lasting impact they continue to have.

This particular project was completed on behalf of Foster Architecture & Anthony Collins Solicitors in Gloucester, where we transformed a mid-1970s bungalow into a fully modernised and accessible living space.

The works included but not limited too.

An incredible weekend of sporting sponsorship success for us, celebrating both boxing and football in Wolverhampton 👊⚽

First up we had Conah Walker who produced his monumental win in his home city, a fantastic achievement for someone we’re honoured to sponsor.

The occasion was made even more special as the Matchroom Boxing 5K Fight Day Run took place at Hamilton’s Leisure Centre, a facility we recently constructed, where we had the privilege of welcoming Eddie Hearn, Frank Smith, and Conah himself.

Next up Robbie Meakin kept the momentum going as we proudly sponsored the AFC Wolverhampton City charity match.

Featuring ex-professionals and local influencers, the event raised vital funds for the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and their Macmillan Cancer Support Hub.

We’re delighted to announce that, for the third year running, the 2026 Paul Finch Trophy is returning to Molineux! ⚽️

On Bank Holiday Sunday, 24th May 2026, 32 local businesses will go head-to-head in a 5-a-side football tournament, all in support of the Wolves Foundation.

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve already surpassed last year’s fundraising total, raising over £25,000 through team entries, sponsorships and hospitality packages.

In an era where we’re constantly surrounded by negative narratives about the younger generation and ongoing concerns about a lack of new talent entering our industry, we want to take a moment to highlight something truly positive.

Meet Will Lawton our trainee QS.

While many are conditioned to stick to the traditional 9–5 mindset, Will showed a different level of commitment today. He was in the office before 7am, ahead of a full day at university, simply to make sure his tender deadline was met.

That kind of initiative, dedication, and drive especially at such an early stage in a career is exactly what our industry needs more of.

It’s a reminder that the future is in capable hands. With an attitude like this, the world really is his oyster and the rewards of hard work will follow.

People of Tettenhall and Wolverhampton, we are incredibly proud to present your brand-new leisure complex, officially signed, sealed, and delivered by our family business, Hindley Contractors Ltd.

Over the past 12 months, we have acted as principal contractor, carrying out the full demolition of the former Chris Jewkes Fitness Centre and delivering the complete construction of the multi-million-pound Hamiltons Leisure Complex.

This fantastic new facility includes:

Another relentless year at Hindley Contractors Ltd, and as 2025 draws to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our clients, suppliers, and staff for helping make it such a successful year.

We’re especially proud to share that out of 30 direct employees in 2025, not a single member of our team left the business. That speaks volumes about the loyalty, commitment, and professionalism of our workforce, as well as the strong culture we continue to build together.

We are now closed until Monday 5th January 2026, taking some well-earned time to enjoy quality moments with family and friends.

Full adaptation complete, this time right here in our local city of Wolverhampton, working alongside Foster Architecture.

This project involved extensive internal refurbishment, including a rear single-storey fully accessible extension, a full garage conversion, a new kitchen, three new bathrooms, upgraded windows, and a brand-new driveway.

Our clients had a very specific and refined taste, and we made sure every detail was delivered to their complete satisfaction.

Fantastic footage showcasing the progress on our large-scale extension to an existing commercial building in Wolverhampton!

This purpose-built 700m² extension is being constructed to support the client’s rapid expansion, providing space for an additional 10 employees along with new machinery and workflow requirements.
