It is currently Honey Bee Swarm season. A large swarm buzzing around your chimney or eaves will be Honey Bees this time of year.
I've had six calls today about Wasp Nests but everyone is Honey Bees. If left alone they will usually move on within 4 days, however if they do take up residence in a chimney or building there is nothing a pest controller can do. There are specialist companies that do live Bee Removals. Usually at a great cost.
If you have a swarm cluster in a tree or shrub your local Bee Keeper will collect the swarm.

Keep your eyes open in sheds and garages for early stage Wasp Nests, plenty of Queens about this year.

The wasp nests are slow this year but there seem to be Rats everywhere at the mo.
