A few before and after photos of the garden wall restoration project.👌🏽
We had the privilege of restoring this 250 year old garden wall, as you can see in the before photos, it was crumbling away and unsafe with barely any mortar between the bricks.🚫🧱
Using the original bricks, we rebuilt the top half of the wall and added the tile crease and edgeway to give it a more grand look. Followed by wire brushing the face of the wall to remove all the dirty and moss that had built up over 2 century’s.
After a full repoint, another clean then followed by a sealant to preserve the bricks it has really bought this old wall back to life, its taken many hours and days to get everything back to this standard but it has been a pleasure to restore an old wall like this rather than see it being knocked down and replaced with cheap easy fix.
