Working with SEND learners isn’t just part of my job — it’s personal.
There was a moment with my own son where it really hit home. I watched him struggle in school, not because he wasn’t capable, but because the environment didn’t fit the way he learned. And I remember thinking… if we don’t get this part right, how can we expect him to grow into a job, a career, a future he deserves?
That feeling — that fire in my belly — is exactly why I do what I do.
Every day, I meet young people who just need someone to believe in them. Someone to give them the space to thrive, to rebuild their confidence, their self-esteem, and to help them find that spark for something they enjoy and are genuinely good at.
At PJD Training Academy, that’s what it’s about creating opportunities, opening doors. Making sure no learner gets left behind.
If we can be the place where a young person starts to believe in themselves again… then we’re doing something right. 💛
