Great to receive a planning consent on one of the last, if not the last development opportunity in the small village of Middleton. This small but very sensitive site, received overwhelming support from the local authority after some hard work, delicate negotiation and tenacity by all of the design team and not forgetting a great client. White Ridge are recruiting. We are looking for an Architectural Technician to join our established Midlands based team engaging in architecture, urban design & masterplanning. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in residential architecture, possessing a diverse set of skills in design, presentation and technical areas and with this comes a multi functional role with opportunities to further expand your knowledge and experience. You will have good communication skills and be comfortable with client interface on a daily basis.

White Ridge are searching for a Senior Architectural Technician to join their residential design team.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in the residential design sector and have strong design and technical abilities with a good understanding of residential development methods and practises along with job running experience.

You will predominantly be responsible for producing new house type and apartment working drawings, maintaining existing drawing packages as well as having an understanding of how these affect site layout production.

It is important you have the ability to work within a team as well as independently and be able to offer leadership qualities when required. This position requires good communication, interaction and people skills therefore previous experience in a client facing role would be preferable.
