We received a call to quote for External Wall Insulation.
During the call it came out that landlord is also looking at other contractors for other measures to achieve EPC “C”.
We assured him we do everything under 1 roof & he’ll get FREE EPC certificate at the end.
With materials & scaffolding on site - we start External Wall insulation tomorrow.
Also on the scope here is ;
-loft top up to 270mm
- Trv & Programmer
- Led lights
But also we will add trickle vents throughout the property , vents in the loft , draught proof where needed also.
This will bring easily bring him up to a High C.
As a landlord or agent are you starting to look at & worry about the upcoming regs or still thinking they will change the rules ?
Might be a good shout to gradually upgrade if you have a portfolio rather than all at once at the last minute when contractors will use this to charge huge prices!
