Locksmith Repair Completed 🔐

We attended a site on behalf of a property management company following reports of a communal front door failing to open properly from the outside and becoming stuck when closed.

Upon inspection, our locksmith identified a sticking door latch causing the issue. Adjustments were carried out onsite, restoring the door to full working order and ensuring smooth opening and closing again

✅ Further inspection also identified excessive wear and tear to the existing handles and lock, with recommendations provided for replacement to help prevent future issues.

We recently attended a property to install a new vanity unit.

What we did:
• Fitted new vanity unit
• Carefully positioned and began installation works
• Checked all fixings and surrounding area to ensure a secure fit

Issue identified:
• During installation, we found the plaster behind the unit was failing and starting to come away from the wall
• This meant the surface wasn’t stable enough to safely support the vanity
• To prevent future damage or movement, the issue needed to be addressed before continuing installation

What we did next:
• Safely removed the unit to prevent further damage
• Arranged plastering works to put things right
• Returned once completed and finished the installation properly and securely

✅ Resulting in safe completion and a strong, long-lasting finish.

Boiler Breakdown Investigation 🔍

No heating and no hot water is something no one wants to be faced with, especially when it happens without warning.

We attended an emergency call-out where the boiler had stopped working, due to low system pressure. Our gas engineer refilled the system, bled the radiators on the top floor, and restored full heating and hot water before leaving the property.

💡On further inspection, we identified the root cause - a leaking hot water cylinder in the boiler cupboard, which was gradually causing the pressure loss.

This is a great example of why proper diagnosis matters - not just getting things working again, but finding and fixing the underlying issue to prevent repeat breakdowns.
