Sadly, someone has taken the Prince’s wooden sword from our scarecrow display at the Footbridge. If anyone knows of its whereabouts perhaps they could arrange for its return please?

Should the Prince need to slay any Dragons after rescuing Rapunzel, he will be at a distinct disadvantage 😢

Our group wanted to say a HUGE ‘Thank You’ to Michelle at Jurassic Coast Cafe for making storage available to us over several years.

Our village Book Sales would not have been possible without her generosity, keeping our donated books/DVD’s & Jigsaw puzzles in dry storage.

Sadly that space is now being rented but after a fb plea we are DELIGHTED to announce another kind soul has stepped up and made room in her garage! Thank YOU Darlene!!

What a great community- the Book Sales continue ! 🤩

HELP!

Looking for storage for our books!!

Michelle at the Jurassic Cafe has supported our group from the word go and very kindly stored our boxes for several years , enabling us to hold our popular book sales each year. A HUGE ‘thank you’ to Michelle 💕

Sadly, circumstances completely.
beyond her control have obliged us to look for a new ‘home’.

Without access to storage we will unfortunately, no longer be able to run the Book Sales.

Does anyone have a corner of a garage /storage unit / shed that we can use please 🙏 - your community needs you!

FOLKLORE & FAIRYTALES

We know many of you have already submitted your entry for the Wool Scarecrow Competition but more application forms have been taken from Central Stores, so……..we have decided to extend the deadline to Wednesday 15th July - incase you still wish to participate but thought you might be too late!

It is going to be a fun event with the theme encouraging brilliant ideas so far so if you were thinking of joining in, please do.

Entries to Central Stores until shop closes on Wednesday.
