Phase 2 complete on this van conversion. Once a mountain rescue van now a fields trail van for equipment testing.
Over head lockers installed, new folding workbench, 19" equipment rack and cupboard built above the cab, heater kick plate with adjustable vents and new flooring.
Black and silver theme continued throughout to give a professional look. Folding workbench gives the versatility to move larger items if needed.
Phase 3 will complete the van with a rear cupboard and window tints.

Little decking steps to cover a void. The plan is to mount pots on each step to add colour and interest to what could have been a lost space.

Last week ended on the completion of the biggest log store I've built to date. Making use of a bit of dead space at the side of a garden building to store wood for the outdoor garden firepit. A big pit needs a big wood store.
Looking forward to seeing it stacked up ready for the evenings around the fire.

Nice little sleeper retaining wall completed today. All good fun apart from the digging! 🤪
This is going nowhere. Lower sleepers concreted in at each end with steel rebar running through into the ground 750mm+. All braced together with heavy duty brackets.
If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing properly.

It's about time I made Jonny a place to live. He's been great for the last 12+ months but I had a spare hour and some scraps of wood so thought I'd knock up a little house for him.
I'll make a proper one when time allows, but for now, this is just fine.

When you've got that awkward gap but want to make the most of it with a bespoke desk.

Customer will paint it to make it look perfect.

Lovely set of gates installed today. Enjoying the sunshine for sure.
Awkward gap to fill but they look spot on in their new home.
As always I forgot to take a photo of the old ones!😩

Great quality gates from with all the kit needed. Great look and great security.
Bespoke post tops to finish off the look. They'll be painted grey to tie in with the rest of the garden when the customer has time.

Nice end to the week with a little kitchen fit.
Never as quick as I think they should be. Always a fiddle to get it right.

Personalised birthday gift for a lovely little girl who's being a star living in the house I'm currently renovating with a great team.
I made this using the original floor boards we replaced and left over offcuts of architrave. The frame is painted to match her bedroom.
Lights are usb powered with multiple settings (changed via remote control) and the frame is back lit to add to the effect.

It makes a great personal addition to the room and creates a soft nightlight for those still scared of the dark.
