Privileged to work on this project

🎉 NEW PROJECT 🎉 We are working with the team at Benedictos Italian Restaurant on a two storey extension to expand their existing Worcester premises.

The work will provide room for a ground floor bar and coffee shop, an extended kitchen, an accessible toilet and four guest rooms on the first floor.

We're currently working on the enabling works to the car park, but be sure to follow along for updates.👍

Lett + Sweetland are pleased to have secured Planning Approval for a new Dining Hall and Kitchen for a residential outdoor activity centre based in Malvern.
The proposed building is part of an ambitious programme of investment into the facilities. Built into the slope of the site an intensive green roof provides a useful area of flat ground, whilst the new dining hall and kitchen provide space for 120 diners, doubling the current dining capacity at the centre.
Construction on the project is due to start in autumn 2023.

Planning approval has been gained for a unique residential development of three high quality dwellings.
The approval of the new dwellings replaces an existing approval of the conversion of the existing agricultural concrete framed barns currently on the site.
The site is set on the village outskirts and represents a unique opportunity to enhance the local area with good architectural design.
The individual dwellings are bespoke in arrangement with a familiar “barn” style vernacular of space, form and material to reflect the agricultural nature of the site.

If you have driven by our office, you may have noticed a whopper of a For Sale sign, but rest assured, Lett + Sweetland are still working as usual.

Like many businesses our adoption of flexible working arrangements during the pandemic, brought into question our need for our existing office premises.

With our team successfully working remotely, we took the difficult decision to depart our long-established studio and embrace a move to a more agile way of working, which offers greater flexibility for our staff whilst continuing to offer the highest standards of service to our clients.

Planning Application submitted for three new contemporary family homes. The dwellings are designed to be constructed in heavily insulated panels with integral ventilation, air source heating + solar panels in order to be as energy efficient as possible.

Designed as a contemporary barn style to reflect the unique rural location, the new homes feature adaptable living spaces with lifetime living possibilities as well as each dwelling having superb views over open countryside.

Lett + Sweetland Architects have designed a small garden office, for a private client in Worcester. With a Gross Internal Area (GIA) of 13.00sqm, the office incorporates a secure bike store accessed from outside; a two person office, and a separate wc - providing the perfect setting for remote working.

A highly insulated timber framed structure, with reclaimed corrugated steel and timber cladding; a green sedum roof, a composting wc and rainwater harvesting, all ensure that the proposed building is an environmentally sensitive addition to the existing garden, and at just under 2.5m high, Permitted Development Regulations mean that there is no need for planning approval in this case.
