Today marks an exciting new chapter for ONE.

We are joining the Cornerstone Group! This brings together exceptional talent and complementary capabilities, combining strategic consultancy, project monitoring and data insights with our award-winning multi-disciplinary design team:

This partnership provides access to a wider national platform, enhances sustainability and M&E expertise, data insight capability, and new collaborative opportunities – while maintaining our identity, values, leadership and team.

This will benefit our clients, opens exciting new possibilities for further growth and strengthens our commitment to excellence in design, innovation, sustainability and people. It is business as usual and ONE will continue to deliver projects with the same skilled team with no interruption or impact to our current service provision.

Directors remain with the business with the exception of Matt Tebbatt, MD of ONE, who after a fantastic career is retiring in a few months’ time, providing continuity, handover and a smooth transition process. Thank you to Matt.

Congratulations also to two founding members of ONE who in recognition of the company’s impressive and continued growth will both be Managing Directors: James Lawrence – MD of Design and Jason Whittall – MD of Digital at ONE.

2025 has been a special year for ONE as we marked our 50th anniversary, and it has certainly lived up to the occasion. This significant milestone has given us a welcome chance to reflect on five decades of innovative design while we look ahead to the future with a host of exciting plans already taking shape.

Thank you to everyone who joined our anniversary celebrations, culminating in our recent event in Westminster, London. Your continued support over the years has been instrumental in shaping ONE into the business it is today. For those we’ve not yet had the chance to meet, we look forward to catching up early in the New Year.

The past 12 months have brought many memorable moments, from welcoming new clients and securing exciting new commissions to seeing major schemes progress on site and others reach completion. Among them was Tussac House, the Falkland Islands’ first purpose-built extra care facility: an outstanding healthcare development that has transformed local social care provision on the islands. We were delighted to see it named Healthcare Project of the Year at the national Structural Timber Awards.

We are proud that ONE’s multi-disciplinary team has won other industry awards this year in recognition of our designs, sustainability, innovation and people, including our more recently established Smart Assets team.

We continue to be committed to Social Value/ESG and our journey to Net Zero. We were, therefore, delighted to become a Certified B Corporation™ for meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.

As well as showing our appreciation to our wonderful clients and exceptional team, we continue to give back to the communities around us. This included a series of 50-themed activities, among them a 50km charity walk from Birmingham to Worcester, a route linking two of our office locations in support of Worcester Snoezelen, a fantastic charity we’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Having reflected on our legacy, one we are incredibly proud of, we now look to the future with a commitment to further growth and continuing to fulfil clients’ visions with creative, innovative and sustainable designs. We look forward to working with you in 2026.

The festive season reminds us how important it is to come together as a community, and our team has been busy creating shoeboxes for Paul’s Hostel’s Xmas Shoebox Appeal.

Each box is filled with essentials and thoughtful gifts to support those who are vulnerable and experiencing homelessness in Worcester.

This initiative makes such a meaningful difference, and it’s a privilege to be able to help those who need a little extra support over the festive season. We’re committed to doing what we can to support people and communities, and we’re truly delighted to be part of this important cause.

We marked another special moment in our 50th anniversary celebrations.

On Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting another event to mark our 50th anniversary, this time with our wonderful Worcester based clients.

Held at the fantastic Butchers and Grill, the afternoon was filled with great food, excellent service, and amazing entertainment. Madresfield has been a valued client of ours for many years, so celebrating this milestone at one of their venues made it even more special.

It was a great opportunity to reflect on our 50-year journey and express our gratitude to the clients who have made it all possible.

A huge thank you to the team at Madresfield and to the incredible Waiters who surprised everyone with a brilliant performance!

And the celebrations aren’t over yet… stay tuned for more!

Macmillan Coffee Morning ☕

Today, we’re proud to host a Coffee Morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer touches so many lives, family, friends, colleagues, and loved ones, and the work Macmillan does makes such a difference, offering care, comfort and hope when it’s needed most.

Our team have put together a fantastic spread of homemade bakes and tasty treats, all to raise money for this incredible cause.

This appointment represents an important milestone for our practice and provides an opportunity to contribute to vital NHS projects that will benefit communities across the UK.

We are delighted to announce that Joel Pearson has joined ONE’s Board of Directors.

Joel has made a significant impact at ONE as Technical Director of Mechanical Engineering for our award-winning engineering team and is now a fantastic addition to the Board.

With more than 20 years of industry experience across sectors, he brings a wealth of expertise, energy, and a genuine passion for sustainable design, qualities that will be invaluable as the Board continue to drive the business to the next level and realise our strategic ambitions.

Over the company’s 50 years history, ONE has continued to expand and flourish. Now a Board of eight with the addition of Joel, the company is well positioned for further growth.
