‘Heavy’ (approx. 7 meters) removed out of the height of this copper Beech due to colonization of a fungus called Meripilus. The fungus causes decay (break down of the wood) in the roots and underside. The customer wishes to preserve the tree as long as possible.

We carried out plant health care on these two mature Walnut trees today. They’ve been in decline due to compaction from construction works. A mechanical auger was used to drill the holes and in each hole the following was added - liquid fertiliser, biochar, John innes no 3, multi purpose compost and an organic fertiliser. The area was finally covered with a 5-10cm layer of wood-chip. These trees will be monitored. Please get in touch for any plant health care related problems. #
