Another strong step forward on our Hills Ford Worcester showroom refurbishment project since our last update. 👏

Externally, paving and tarmac works are in progressing well, bollards have been installed, and service trenches have been completed ready for the new signage installation.

Inside the building, the workshop equipment installation has now begun, decorations and ceiling works are nearing completion, and flooring installation is progressing throughout the showroom areas. In the high-traffic zones, hygienic wall cladding has also been installed to provide a durable and practical finish.

We’re now entering the final stages of the project, with handover only a couple of weeks away. A huge effort from everyone involved to keep the programme moving smoothly — not long to go now.

Great progress continues at our Hills Ford Worcester project since our last update 👷‍♂️

Decorations are now well underway, bringing the space to life, while ceiling installations are progressing across key areas. Our mechanical works are advancing at pace, keeping the programme firmly on track.

Externally, the site is really starting to take shape, with the forecourt coming together and giving a much cleaner, more defined look.

A big thank you to the team and supply chain for maintaining momentum — looking forward to sharing further milestones soon.

We’re pleased to share a progress update on our Howard Tenens project in Swindon, where works are moving forward at pace across multiple areas of the scheme.

The concrete slab works to the warehouse are now approaching completion thanks to Connop Concreting Contractors, marking a key milestone in the programme. Alongside this, strip out works have been successfully completed, allowing follow-on trades to progress efficiently.

Across the internal areas, floor preparation is well underway, with partition walls and ceiling installations continuing to take shape. Our teams are also progressing hygienic wall installations, ensuring the space meets operational and compliance requirements.

From a services perspective, M&E installations remain ongoing, working in coordination with the wider programme. It’s also great to see decorations now underway, bringing the project closer to completion.

A strong effort from all teams on site as we continue to push forward.

Progress is continuing at pace on our Hills Ford Worcester project, with key milestones being reached across multiple areas of the site 👷‍♂️

Partitioning works are now nearing completion, helping to define the internal layout, while mechanical installations are well underway. Externally, the glazing has been installed and cladding is now complete.

Ground levelling is also approaching completion, and internally, workshop walls have been decorated with equipment installation now in progress.

Great to see the project taking shape — a strong effort from all teams involved 👏

🚧 Project Update: Howard Tenens, Swindon 🚧

Vanguard Contracts are making strong progress on our project at Howard Tenens, Swindon.

To date, key works completed and underway include:
• Mechanical and electrical services isolated and stripped out where required
• Removal of existing doors, with openings measured for new replacements to the client’s specification
• Floor finishes stripped out across the site
• Existing WC IPS systems and cubicles fully removed
• Installation of new partitioning now underway

In the warehouse area, significant progress is also being made with the replacement of the reinforce concrete slab:
• Existing concrete floor broken up and removed by JGC
• New concrete slab currently being laid in sections by Connop Concreting Contractors
• All warehouse works are being carried out by the above contractors direct to the client with Vanguard overseeing these works

Great to see the transformation taking shape as we move into the next phase of the project.

Great progress is being made at our Hills Ford Worcester project for the Vanguard Contracts team. 🚧

Over the past few weeks we’ve seen significant developments on site, with blockwork walls and stud partitioning now being installed, helping to shape the internal layout of the building. Alongside this, further electrical installation works have been progressing well, and we’re pleased to confirm that the structural steel installation is now complete.

The next key phase will see cladding and curtain walling installed, which will bring the building closer to being secure and fully watertight.

A big thank you to everyone on site for the continued hard work and collaboration driving the project forward. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses.

Great progress at our Hills Ford Worcester site 👏

The steelwork installation is now close to completion, marking a significant milestone in the programme and setting the framework for the next phase of works.

At the same time, the existing cladding is being carefully removed to create space for the new curtain walling installation. This will dramatically enhance the external appearance of the building while improving performance and bringing the site in line with the latest brand standards.

Excellent work by the team and our supply chain partners in keeping the momentum going and maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout.

Looking forward to sharing the next stage of the transformation soon.

Another great project over the line ✅

We’ve just completed the OJ Maidstone Car Showroom refurbishment, giving the space a fresh new look and upgraded services throughout.

Works included:
• Strip out of existing M&E services
• Removal of old furniture, signage and flooring
• New power and data installation
• Relocation of the fire alarm
• New water services to create a refreshment area
• Installation of new Karndean flooring
• Full internal redecoration
• External spraying works

It’s always rewarding to see a showroom transformed into a clean, modern space ready to welcome customers.

🚧 Week Two on Site at Hills Ford, Worcester 🚧

Our second week on site has been a strong one, with demolition progressing impressively quickly and electrical works now underway. Huge credit to the team for keeping momentum high and the programme moving smoothly.

Looking ahead, next week is a particularly exciting milestone. We’ll be crushing materials from the demolished building and recycling them on site by backfilling the existing forecourt to achieve final levels — a great example of efficient, sustainable construction in action.

More updates to come as the project continues to take shape 👀
