Carpenter My name is Frazer Bennett. I can offer my services as a carpenter, with over 15 years experience in the construction industry.

This has gained me a wealth of knowledge & experience from working in a workshop & on site as an individual & in a team. I have had the opportunity to work on projects from day 1 through to completion:
- New builds, renovations, refurbishment, and conversions

As well as my primary duties...
..first fix carpentry:
- constructing temporary framework and arch formers
- erecting truss roofs, and fl

at, traditional & lean to roofs
- cladding exterior walls
- fitting floating floors, false ceilings, stud partitions
.. second fix construction:
- fitting fascia, barge & soffit board
- installing windows, doors, and door frames
- installing door linings, window boards, floor boards
- fitting staircases, skirting & architrave, doors, fixtures & fittings
- installing kitchens, cupboards, shelving and furniture
..and garden construction:
- installing decking and trellises
- erecting gates, gazebos, arbours, and pergolas
- building sheds, summerhouses, and cabins

It is with regret that we announce Frazer Bennett Carpenter is no longer trading. After many years of providing high-quality carpentry services, we have made the difficult decision to close our business operations. We sincerely thank all of our valued clients for their support and trust over the years.

While we are no longer accepting new business, we remain grateful for the relationships we've built within the community and the opportunity to contribute to so many wonderful projects.

Good day friends, family, followers & customers of Frazer Bennett Carpenter.
Apologies if you have been unable to get in touch with me this week. I have been enjoying a week off work - a staycation given the circumstances! I shall be returning to work next week & will catch up with you all then.
In the meantime, having given it much thought & deliberation, I am happy to announce that I am now willing to take on internal work. It seems that most people are now happy for tradesmen to enter their homes. I will conduct my work under government guidance. And, for piece of mind, I & any workers with me can provide a voluntary on the spot infrared contactless temperature test before commencing work; we will have our own masks to where under the government guidelines; I can only advise regular CV-19 testing, but this is down to local availability & personal convenience as personal testing kits are not yet readily available for public purchase.
I hope this is helpful & positive news for you all. If you have any further advice or recommendations to negotiate the current pandemic circumstances please don't hesitate to get in touch.

COVID-19 & Work...

With careful consideration of our government's advice & the continued seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic I will be reopening my business under a non-contact policy and therefore only accepting external carpentry work.

With merchants now reopening and offering a click & collect &/or delivery service it is now possible to manage material supplies. However, under these restricted services it has become a slower process in convenience and I would ask your patience to be considered.

Under no circumstances will I be entering another household's property, nor shall I accept any physical exchange of anything. Therefore, I will be breaking my working day into two halves to allow for a journey home for any necessary convenience. The 2 metre rule will be observed and I will be following good sanitation practice as per the government's guidelines.

Until the curcumstances improve the risks imposed on others remain. It would be wise to continue to act sensibly in these unprecedented times.

With careful consideration of our government's advice & the continued seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic my business will remain closed until further notice.
With the majority of merchants remaining closed and only a handful opening up to click & collect services of essential items only, my need to travel to various places for materials/kit & the risks this would impose on others it would be wise to continue to act sensibly in these unprecedented times. Until the curcumstances improve my opinion remains the same - I am not a key worker, my work is not essential to the coronavirus crisis & it does not contribute to the well-being of the population.
I am working on a strategy to approach potential work that does not hinder the safety of others, but until relative normality returns to the construction industry its proving difficult to make that possible. Thank you for your time & understanding my decision.
