We’ve been developing ideas for a perforated Corten steel balustrade for our 5 and 6 Beechwood project.

The design allows for natural light and privacy to the raised bedroom terrace, whilst still retaining views towards the distant hills.

Throw back to 2025: A full circle moment took place at RGS The Grange where several generations of students, teachers and practitioners congregated to workshop designs for a new Learning Zone. Helen and Simon spent the day facilitating students from Year 6 and Loughborough School of Architecture in exploring fresh ideas and unique perspectives for the ‘Classroom of the Future”. Everyone had a lot of fun and we think some young architects in the making were inspired…

Great to start the year with a long overdue Planning Permission…

Suckley Hop Kilns is an interesting and varied group of redundant hop kilns set within the Herefordshire Landscape.

The proposal is to transform them into generous holiday accommodation, with unique outlook over the historic moat and landscape. The buildings will be enhanced by introduction of a new entrance and dining space, suspended over the water’s edge and providing connection to the outdoors, whilst the kiln spaces with remain atmospheric in encapsulating the feeling of the original agricultural spaces.

New staircase nearly complete to a victorian house in the centre of Worcester. Reconstructed in order that the stairs turned into the hallway, creating a dramatic entrance feature. Project due for completion before Christmas.

We are delighted to have won the bid for the new University of Worcester Lakeside Centre. The concept proposals feature natural ventilation, biodiverse roofs and recycled waste water and will provide a new centre of Education at the campus in north Worcester.
