In case any of you wondered how I get these batten fences straight and level with irregular pieces of wood. Over the years I’ve made mistakes and now I have developed a skill installing these fences.
Thought ide share this is the only way enjoy 🔨🪚💪👌

Paving batten fence complete ✔️
Now it’s time for the decking batten fence the other side.
Loving the look of the 45 degree finish, blends into the existing garden lovely, just how I designed it.
I’m going to Osmo it with an oak color this time, to tone it down and match features and tons within the kitchen.
I’m getting there 👌😎

Got all the tiles completed on the pillar and the raised planters with mitered corners throughout.
Yes it took time but worth all the effort I’m so happy with the finished product 👌
Now time to install all the batten fences…

Shuttering in and footings pored to correct heights and hedge cut back tight to allow for new fence.
Ran out of concrete will join with rebars later…

Exiting project this one it’s been in the planning for over a year now. The artist impressions will have elements of the current design but we simplify it here and there where necessary.

The objective of this project was to work seamlessly with the clients new open plan kitchen extension they had constructed.
To the corner of their kitchen they have 3 bifold doors R & L of the corner, which fold right back on both sides, with no corner support apart from the exterior pole.
Very cool, when open literally opens a 1/4 of their kitchen to the exterior space. Within the kitchen they have large 800 x 800 grey tiles with 3mm joints.
The plan is to flow the interior space out to the exterior space seamlessly following the same joints. I’ve sauced porcelain paving same size and similar color.
Large decked area creating another zone and breaking up the vast amount of porcelain. Large black split face tiles on the pillar and raised planters for continuity, which all match tones within the design everything very considered.

There will be architectural planting for impact, beds and planting pockets mainly a Zen style with up lighting and LED’s on the steps for those evenings.

As for the large patio we will dress that space with a large louvred pergola which includes LED’s around the celing. When sunny open the louvre’s, when raining close them 👌 Then inside a lovely sofa set with gas fire 🔥.

Lots to do and a lot of height to build up to the kitchen floor, but I’m excited I got a plan Let Go !! 💪

Nice little project this one, maximising on every inch of the garden as always.
The brief was to create a fun family space to relax in a BBQ or cook a pizza, serve yourself and your family a drink at the bar or chill out in the seating area, maximising on every inch of the garden.
All of the planting scheme was inspired by and to complement their beautiful Acre which now centre stage on the patio. Sleeper beds with shadow lines to remain cohesive to the bespoke bench. Curved laminated pergola to enhance the space and replicate the cobbles below. Complimented with festoon lighting for those evenings along side a gas fire pit completing the space.

Was a nice one this one - kitchen/ Bar is being built in phase 2 so will gravel the area for now. 📐✏️🌿

It was dry so today was the day I installed the from Vuba Resin Driveways.

There were hundreds of different tones we could have chosen to match the paving and newly installed features. It just involved weighing out the different gravels in order to maintained a consistent mix.

Yes I could have broken out the concrete and re laid another paved area but this was a costly option.
The existing concrete was fine so we utilised that as the new base to save on budget. Also was perfect to address all the various different levels whist remaining cohesive to the rest of the design colours.

Very happy how it turned out a Big thanks to Bruce the client for helping me weigh out the gravel and speed the whole process up 👍

A lovely product which I will start including to, more of my designs in the future. No doubt there will be crazy patterns etc existing

I just had too. The apron was the whole inspiration for this whole project. But it had issues cracked tiles no joints and I knew I could fix it to make new again, so I did

Well worth the extra effort, now no cracked tiles with joints that match the rest 🧡🖤👌
