Spring, the growing season, is here, but with little rain forecast your lawn might already be feeling the stress.

💧 Water deeply but infrequently. Early morning is the best time to water your lawn to avoid evaporation.
✂️ Mow your lawn on a higher setting and remember not to cut it by more than one third at any one time.
👀 Check for signs of stress. If your lawn looks dull, discoloured or footprints stay visible the first step is to water it.

Tips for Caring for Grass After Frost

🌱 Stay Off the Grass

Avoid walking on or mowing frosted or frozen grass to prevent breaking the brittle blades and causing long-term damage.

🌱 Rake Gently

Once the frost melts, gently rake the grass to remove debris and improve airflow, reducing the risk of fungal diseases like snow mold.

🌱 Check for Damage

Look for discolored or thinning patches. These areas may need reseeding or repair once the weather warms.

🌱 Encourage Recovery

Aerate the lawn in spring to improve soil oxygenation and promote healthy root growth.
