Our Retofit surveyors and specialists, working with local builders and installers, have supported hundreds of households to create warmer, more energy-efficient homes that are more affordable to run, while also enhancing appearance and introducing renewable solutions where suitable ๐โป๏ธ
Itโs great to see the real difference these upgrades are making, from lower energy bills to healthier, more comfortable and modern living spaces.
Weโll be sharing updates on these Wrexham-based projects, along with others from across North Wales soon ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ

What is a Retrofit Assessment? ๐ ๐
A retrofit assessment aims to assess the properties condition to identify what energy saving measures is suitable for your home.
This is part of our commitment to decarbonising our housing stock, with funding from Welsh Governmentโs Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP).
What does this mean for you?
- Potential to lower overall costs and usage
- Heat retention
- Protecting the property as a whole
- Assessing your property to ensuring the measures are suitable and properly designed for your home.
If your property has been included in this programme for EWI, a Tenant Liaison Officer will be there to support you throughout the process.
Affordable warmth is a key requirement of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS), and External Wall Insulation (EWI) contributes significantly reaching the SAP rating, by improving energy efficiency and reducing heating costs, subject to funding availability.
