⚠️ Emergency call-out today ⚠️
We attended a fault this afternoon where the main switch had severely overheated and started to melt.
The customer was extremely lucky this didn’t turn into a full house fire.
This is a strong reminder of how important it is to have your electrical system checked, especially if your consumer unit is older or you’ve noticed burning smells, flickering, or tripping.
A simple inspection can prevent something much worse.

Upgraded a consumer unit that I originally installed nearly 20 years ago😳
The regulations have changed a fair bit since then, so it was good to get everything brought up to today’s standards and make it safer for the customer.
