M&N Horticulture are a family run creative gardening and maintenance company, based in Norfolk

M&N Horticulture are Norfolk based horticulture, planting and garden maintenance specialists with domestic and commercial divisions. From lawn mowing, pruning, planting and hedge trimming for domestic customers through to estate maintenance, large scale commercial planting and grounds maintenance work for businesses, schools and local authorities we have the experience to manage large contracts but with a personal touch.

Featured Project: Semi-Mature Tree Screen, Aylsham, Norfolk

Our client had an over-looking dormer window, which they needed to be diffuse from view of their lounge.

It was agreed that a large multi stem Betula jacquemontii would be the tree of choice. Known as white Himalayan birch for its stunning white stems, a root ball tree standing 18-20ft was sourced during early autumn and the tree was hoisted over the garden wall into a prepared planting pit.

Autumn Pruning Advice!

Pruning promotes young growth for fresh stem colour or to increase flowering for the following seasons.

Autumn pruning prepares the plants for the upcoming winter period, this broadly includes roses, preventing wind rock, herbaceous plants, certain climbers, whilst plants can be pruned harder for shape or reduction as required.

Our team has the skills to tackle even the largest hedges!

Working safely in our single person cage attached to our off road loader, we're able to reach up to 20ft in height.

Clippings can be either collected and left on site for the client to dispose off or we can remove them (we're certified by the environment agency as waste carriers).

to October 2025 when our team were tidying up after 'Storm Amy' had swept through Norfolk.

A huge ash tree and a hawthorn tree were down but we managed to clear everything efficiently and safely - with the help of our equipment from Avant Tecno UK!
