Major willow hedge reduction completed today in a beautiful garden on the banks of the Frome. Have been working on this property weekly for the last 6 months, it's a bit sad to see how dry and stressed a lot of the plants and trees are looking, so here's hoping for a lot more rain soon. Thankfully the willow, situated right on the bank of the Frome, were not showing any signs of stress so safe to proceed with the reduction. A couple of front garden tidy-up jobs completed in Ladden Garden Village and Yate yesterday.
Reductions on the Portuguese Laurel and H**e first off to open up some space in that front garden, then battling with soil as hard as concrete when weeding the second garden.

It was great to get this garden in Yate back into a manageable condition yesterday. Overgrown lawns have been cut and will recover (once we finally get some rain!) and a raised bed that had become completely overrun is now ready to be replanted with a variety of colourful but easy to maintain shrubs.

Turning a jungle into a functional space - completed this job last week in Chipping Sodbury. Great to get all the weeds out and create space for the shrubs and roses to shine. Weeds have been treated and next we'll think of suitable additions to the spaces in the beds to be planted in the autumn.

Nice hedge trim on this hawthorn in Didmarton a few weeks ago. Thankfully was able to get in behind/underneath the hedge to fully check for nests beforehand. Deceptively high but with 12 ft tripod ladders was able to reach it all with ease and level off the top.
Now we're approaching the end of nesting bird season I'm starting to book up for the autumn and winter - if you have hedges on your property you need help maintaining feel free to get in touch.

Recent garden clearance job completed in Clifton, turning a jungle into a usable space.
