Chimney rebuild with lead tray and flashings. Not the easiest of locations hidden in a Vally of Peter Tavy and with a weak tin roof, scaffolding wasn't an option so that's where our handy light weaght chimney tower comes in handy 👍🏻

This chimney had very little lead work and was leaking badly. A very satisfied customer 🙂

⚠️⚠️The walls were so damp, they were literally oozing with water! ⚠️⚠️ We found a hidden cavity which we turned into a brilliant feature!

A property in Bannawell Street built from out of the cliff face had years of filtered watter seeping through the walls making a very damp and cold environment. We knew straight away this will need to have a more advanced tanking system as usual tanking methods won't be sufficient in this case.

We specialise in Delta membrane installations and to add warmth back into this room we insulated the walls from the inside.

We found a hidden archway behind a fake wall which would once have been a fire place or oven which would have dated back to the 17th century when the property was built.

A very happy customer indeed! 😁

Major repair work needed to this 19th century chimney on a grade 2 listed building. All new lead work, full length crack to the stack stitched and we replaced broken bricks, raised lead back gutters and new render to stack and plinth. An in Vally chimney was quite the challenge but completed professionally for many more years of protection from the elements. TAVISTOCK

⚠️‼️A very bad case of rising damp!‼️⚠️ After we resolved the issue by stripping back the walls for tanking we added outside drainage and rendered a new plinth to the house to further protect this Cottage from moisture ingress. We renovated the room and opened up an existing wall with a new arch way to give an open flow to the house. No more damp! 👌🏻TAVISTOCK
