Had to fix a patio this week and replaced grass for gravel area for easier maintenance. Old patio doesn't look to bad via the pictures but it did have pointing in originally none of the slabs had been laid on sand & cement just on sand with no hardcore base so everything dropped and moved.
So we ripped everything out dug out for a type 1 base and laid the same sandstone slabs on full bed of sand & cement base with an sbr coating, wont move again 👌

Ripped down an old wall for a driveway extension just to make it easier and more spacious for the cars, cleaned up the flower beds, membrane and gravel for low maintenance and replaced grass with artificial for more low maintenance.

Nice tidy ups this week. Fixed a flower bed on its way out and laid a new path. Might look a bit strange but there's method in the madness. A large true root destroyed the old path so some stepping stones slabs have been laid just incase it happened again and save destroying so big roots and possibly killing the tree just for a path.
