One of our most local and favourite stones to work with. Hamstone is a great golden stone from Ham Hill in and looks stunning

. The stone contains thin beds of less well cemented material and some small clay inclusions. These areas weather differentially to give weathered hamstone its characteristic furrowed appearance.
