This is a bespoke greenhouse made to fit between two buildings. The customer specified that it was to be bare timber so I used iroko due to its excellent natural resistance to rot. This timber is also quite hard and dimensionaly stable which helps to keep the doors from swelling up and warping.
The roof glass is capped with the Gabriel Ash aluminium capping system with automatic ridge vents which open and close as the greenhouse warms and cools.
I particularly enjoyed building the arch top French doors, it’s not often I get to do curved work.
The door handles are pewter and all hinges and fixings are stainless steel.
