If the work has not been notified to a Building Control Body or carried out by a Competent Person Scheme registered installer serious damage or injury could occur. The local authority will have no record that the work complies with Building Regulations either and these records will be important when you come to sell your home as you may be asked to provide certificates of compliance with the Building Regulations.

Building regulations were updated in June this year...

Don’t get caught out! - Part F of the building regulations were updated in June 2022. Part F of the Building Regulations 2010 provides guidance on building ventilation.

ℹ️ System guidance states that whole-house mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) should be used, also showers and bathrooms require mechanical extractor fans.
⚠️ Who does this apply to? This applies to domestic and commercial properties.
