Loose wires cause fires 🔥

The perfect example of "You buy cheap, you buy twice" and "You get what you pay for".

After getting an electrical installation condition report (EICR) carried out by a company advertising cheap prices, this melted main feed to the fuse board wasn't even noticed, which suggests they didn't even take the fuse board cover off, or test anything at all.

Safe to say the report the customer has paid for, isn't worth the paper it's scribbled on.

If there's one thing you shouldn't scrimp on, it's the safety of your family.

If this was a rented property, the landlord could be liable if an electrical fire occurred and it came out that they had hired incompetent workers to carry out the works.
