🥶 🥶 IT’S A COLD ONE TODAY 🥶 🥶
Here’s the step by step guide to unfreezing your condensate pipe if your boiler cuts out when the temperatures plummet.
1 - Turn off your boiler.
2a - Use hot water (not boiling) and pour over the end of the pipe where it is frozen on your outside wall.
2b - Or hold a hot water bottle or microwaveable heat pad over the pipe.
4 - Once the pipe has thawed out turn your boiler back on and you should be toastie warm again in no time!
(Take care where the water has been poured as it may turn to ice if the big freeze continues for a few days.)
