NEW ALBUM RELEASE FROM DAVE WHETSTONE

Dave has asked me to spread the word about his new album.

For those of you not familiar with the name Dave is a superb melodeon player and has been associated with names such as Ashley Hutchins, Albion Band, Simon Nicol, and the like.

It has been 30 years since Dave's last acclaimed album "The Resolution " which was rather good to say the least.
This new album has been produced in collaboration with many of the stalwarts on the English folk scene and is really worth adding to your collection.

Acorn Instruments away day at Melodeon Playgroup in the Fleece at Bretforton near Evesham
Our stall is a bit limited for space so we decided to put a selection of our pre owned instruments on display.
New instruments kept on van.
We have lots of pre owned guaranteed melodeons on stock as you can see and these are just a few of them.

After Festival sort out.
A couple of fantastic pre owned melodeons taken in at the August festivals.
Both instruments in fantastic condition and are going to the tuners next week.

Acorn Instruments out and about.
This weekend we start festival August.
We start at Saltburn folk festival with a small stall just to ease us into things.
Next Saturday see us at Whitby Folk week then we leave Whitby on the 20th (afternoon) to go to Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
Come and say hello,we will have lots of new and pre owned instruments with us.

Melodeon Playgroup started in 2012, with the realisation that there was a lack of workshops available for players who were at the very beginning of their experience with the melodeon, or who perhaps lacked the confidence or experience to join established music sessions.
