V. Sarajishvili Street - Visual exploration of the courtyard structure [cut-outs]

By tracing the continuity of paving, thresholds, passages and open spaces, the map reveals the blurred boundary between street and courtyard. Embedded within the drawing are unexpected scenes of everyday life—small gestures, routines, and encounters—that reveal the intimate and often unseen worlds existing beyond the street.

Unit 20, located in the heart of Mtatsminda, continues a series of projects that reconsider what it means to design for the contemporary market and in this case - within historically charged contexts. Custom-built furniture defines distinct zones for resting, dining, hosting friends, or quietly reading, allowing the apartment to adapt seamlessly to different rhythms of daily life.

Unit 20 / The brickwork and the placement of stones is read as a material memory embedded in the urban fabric. Interestingly, this narrative extends into the interior, that we preserved - to embrace the memory.
