STYLE Magazine is one of Georgian periodical editions covering architecture, design and art news. The magazine, managed by advertising company The Architects’ Club, is already 12 years old; it comes out once every 3 months in Georgian and English languages and features Georgian architectural and construction news. STYLE Magazine has attracted some professional interest both in Georgia and abroad.
The Magazine maintains cooperation with leading architectural and construction companies of different countries and their representations in Georgia. In 2007 STYLE Magazine initiated creation of The Architects’ Club, uniting professional architects and artists. The club was established for fostering of professional relations, discussion and solving of problems, existing in the spheres of urban development, architecture and design, promotion of STYLE Magazine and diversification of its publications and for successful organization of international competition "Architectural Award…". You can become a member of our Club. Registration is available online, at the following website: http://www.style-magazine.com.ge (heading “ARCHICLUB”, sub-menu "Registration"). To stimulate architects, promote their works, increase the popularity of construction and architecture and identify the best architectural and interior design projects, we organized a competition titled "Architectural Award", which was first arranged in Georgia in 2006. In the following years the competition became an annual international event; since 2008 it is supported by Tbilisi City Hall. The current round of the competition – Architectural Award 2011, will be finished by a festive award ceremony on October 8-9 2011. Reception of competition entries has started. Participation in the competition is free of charge. Competition entries can be submitted electronically. Competition terms are available at www.archiaward.com
Please check out heading Arch.Award 2011, sub-link "Participation". You are welcome to fill up the application and upload your projects or realized works in the relevant nominations. The number of competition entries submitted by one person is unlimited. One of Architectural Award nominations is titled "Out of Competition". It allows construction companies, architects and designers to promote their urban development and architectural projects created or realized during the year at the competition webpage, while sharing the same participation terms as other competition participants. Out-of-competition program aims at identifying possible new nominations for Architectural Award 2012 and familiarize the public with new tendencies in the spheres of architecture and construction.
